Today at 08:30 am BTC English Language Club arranged an Extempore Speech Competition in presence of chief guest Engr.Md. Ashraful Kabir, Chairman, Bangladesh Technical College.
Principal Mr. Md. Afzal Hossain, President of English Language Club presided over the program. It was a very interesting & enjoyable program for the students. More than 100 students attended the function where about 10 competitors delivered extempore speech in English by picking up a topic from the lottery box. The winners are respectively student of Electrical Engineering 1st semester Abdullah Al Mamun, Asif Akter Textile Engineering 3rd Semester, Md. Arafat Khan Civil Engineering 3rd semester. It appeared that students were getting habituated & accustomed to speak in English.

In the program honorable chief guest inspired the students telling the importance of English. He also urged the students to practice English within the campus to prepare themselves for the global market. He distributed prizes among the winners.

The program was conducted by Engr. Pradyut Mallick, Secretary BTC English Language Club.
